What does FEJ stand for?

FEJ  or ( فَجٍّ ) in Arabic is the word for a deep valley or mountain path. Its singular use occurs in the 27th verse of the 22nd chapter of the Holy Qur’an, called Al-Hajj. For us, we chose our name from verse 22:27 because it reminds us of the challenges that pilgrims have always endured to reach the House of Allah aka Makkah. The verse, in vivid language, describes the convergence of weary pilgrims, through inhospitable terrains, enduring hardship and hunger, in pursuit of spiritual enrichment. In this way, every pilgrim charts a unique path and carries with them their own stories, struggles, and dreams. It is that journey we seek to be a part of.

In English, FEJ fittingly stands for "For Every Journey" because each pilgrim must find their own path to Makkah, each has their own journey to Allah.

Can I change or cancel my order?

We process orders very quickly to get your gear out to you as soon as possible, which means in most cases, we can't make any changes after an order has been placed.

That being said, if you have already placed an order and would like to:

  • Cancel the order
  • Add or remove items
  • Change the shipping address

Please contact our support team within 30 minutes of placing your order. For the best chance of us being able to honor your request, please send your message with the subject line "Modify or cancel order" and include your order reference number in the body of your message.

Cancellations and order modifications are not guaranteed and can only be made during business hours (Monday - Thursday from 6am to 5:30pm ET, Friday from 6am to 1:30pm ET).

Orders paid for with PayPal must ship to the original shipping address. If you request an address change for a PayPal order, we will cancel the order instead.


When will my order ship?

For In Stock items, orders placed before 11 am PST, Monday–Friday will typically ship within 24 hours. Orders placed after 11 am PST on Friday and throughout the weekend will ship the following Monday.

Please note that during June and July orders may take a little longer (up to 3 business days) to ship out. Thanks for your patience!

Please note:

  • Pre-order items will ship out on the date stated on the product page. This date can be anywhere from 4 to 12 weeks from the order date.
  • If your order contains a mix of In Stock and Pre-order items, the entire order will not ship until all of the Pre-order items have arrived at our warehouse. If you want to ship the in stock products separately, please order them separately.

Estimated delivery dates for each product are displayed on individual product pages, on the checkout page prior to placing an order, and also in the order confirmation e-mail you’ll receive immediately after placing an order. You will only receive a tracking number once your order has been shipped.

Can I include a special message or gift packaging with my order?

In short, yes we do.  Every year we get overwhelmed with requests to add a special message to your order, or to add gift packaging to an order. If you would like to add a message or add gift packaging to your order, send an e-mail to and we’ll be more than happy to do our part to make your gift extra special.

Do you have any coupons or offer codes?

We try to offer the best price we can to all of our members, and we strive only to make quality products that are worth your hard-earned dollar. But being in the service of spiritual travelers, we care about making our products as accessible to those who need them as possible.

How do I find out the status of my order?

You view the order status of any recent orders in your Order History. Please keep in mind that if your order contained any Pre-order items, your entire order will only ship once all of the Pre-order items have arrived at our warehouse.

If you'd like us to split your order and send out the In-stock items immediately, please contact our support team with your order number.

Do you offer expedited shipping?

Expedited shipping options will be available starting on July 1st. To reach you on time, we strongly recommend ordering at least 3  weeks before your scheduled departure date to avoid the risk of not receiving your parcel on time and paying much higher expedited shipping rates.

What countries do you ship to?

We ship to many countries around the world, including Australia, Austria, Bahamas, Bangladesh, Belgium, Canada, Denmark, Egypt, Finland, France, Germany, Hong Kong, India, Indonesia, Ireland, Japan, Jordan, Luxembourg, Malaysia, Mauritius, Morocco, Netherlands, New Zealand, Norway, Oman, Pakistan, Palestine, Singapore, Saudi Arabia, South Africa, Spain, Sweden, Switzerland, Turkey, United Kingdom, United Arab Emirates, and the United States.

Shipping costs for orders outside of the U.S. vary depending on the destination. The shipping costs for international orders are displayed on the checkout page.

Please note that customs/duties fees are not included in the price of shipping and are the sole responsibility of the customer.

International free shipping only applies to orders with a subtotal (the total cost of the items in your cart, not including tax or shipping) of $399.00 USD or more. The free shipping discount is automatically applied at checkout.

Please note that some products do not ship internationally, including (but not limited to) knives/blades, flammable items, items with lithium batteries, and any products that require special handling due to their weight and/or size. These shipping restrictions will be stated on individual product pages.


Average transit times:

United States - 7 to 14 days

Australia - 8 to 17 days

Canada -  7 to 14 days

United Kingdom - 7 to 14 days


Please note that these average transit times are given as estimates only, and actual transit time may be considerably longer in some cases. FEJ Gear does not make any delivery guarantees for orders shipped to addresses outside of the US.

Will I have to pay customs on an international order?

International customers are solely responsible for payment of all duties, import taxes, and brokerage fees.

These additional fees are not included in the cost of shipping, and we are not able to provide estimates of what this amount may be for a specific order or item.

Customs, duties, and taxes can vary widely, so please check with your local customs agency for more details before you place an order.

Tracking shows my package as delivered, but I haven’t received it yet. What do I do?

Trying to find your package? Sorry — this can happen sometimes! Occasionally a carrier will tag a package as delivered before it's been physically dropped off.

Please check your front porch, side door, back porch, garage area, bushes, and mailbox to make sure it’s not hiding or jammed. Also, please ask your neighbors if they may have received it for you.

If your package still hasn’t turned up 3 days after the delivery date shown in your tracking information, please contact us.
